We feed people as a gesture of love and aim to do so sustainably. At Bartleby & Sage, we work with local, family-owned farms and businesses, use only biodegradable goods and pay the staff far above industry standards to assure they too have sustainable lives.

Ten percent of profits go back to the communities that have supported us, including the Central World Kitchen, Chocolate Factory Theater and Socrates Sculpture Garden in LIC, the Food Bank and the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger in Brooklyn, the International Refugee Committee, and St. Jude’s Hospital.
