ABOUT THE HOUSE
Wainwright House is located on Milton Point in Rye, New York, a 35-minute drive (I 95, Exit 19) from New York. This historic mansion is situated on the Long Island Sound with stunning sunsets and unobstructed views of the water. The gardens and labyrinth are the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony or Gatsby-esque lawn party. The stately mansion speaks to an elegant, more refined time, with the family heirlooms, books and decor assuring a warm and authentic experience. Included are:

ABOUT THE TENT
The tent is very spacious, with 10 ft sidewalls and a 30 ft ceiling. It is situated on a level 80’ by 80’ footprint with clear views of the water and accommodating up to 240 guests for a seated dinner with dancing. During tent season (mid May to October 31), the venue site fee includes full use of the house, 5 sprawling acres of waterfront property, and the tent with carpeted flooring, parquet dance floor, bandstand and basic, dimmable lighting.
ABOUT THE LODGING
From private suites to an entire residence, The Wainwright properties can accommodate up to 26 people per night with affordable rates for all groups, including special rates for non-profits.
The mansion sleeps 2 in the bridal suite (and additional guests on the third floor for retreats only by special request). The Fonrose House, just left of the main house, sleeps 16 with five bedrooms, four full baths, dining room, living room, full working kitchen, outdoor patio and upstairs terrace. The Carriage House at the entrance gates, sleeps 8 with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
